A Brief Introduction
Greetings! My name is Tim. I’m a graphic designer, web designer, illustrator, and part-time home rehab entrepreneur living in Columbia, Missouri. My interests include anything design related, enjoying a few drinks with friends and enjoying good live music. Design is not just my job, it’s my hobby, business, and my life. Design and art have been a huge part of my life, so much so that if I didn’t do something creative I would definitely be lost.
I have been making websites and designing graphics for a good part of 12 years with my first online project going online in 2000. I now work, study and live web and graphic design. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Southeast Missouri State University, and I work as a designer/web developer for McAllister Software Systems.
My design career has given me the opportunity to be a part of some exciting and occasionally bizarre projects. It has also led me to meet and work with some amazing designers, developers, musicians, and organizations.
I love my job, even when the chaos monster rears its ugly head. I have realized one of my childhood dreams. I don’t have to follow the “professional” norms that most people have to follow. I doodle during meetings, I use a green pen to write whenever possible, and I’ve defied the highschool yearbook’s prediction of ”most likely to be a starving artist”. Heck! I design and make things look good for a living and people pay me for it. Who could ask for anything more.
