Columbia Business Times

Columbia Business Times is the business trade journal for the Central Missouri business community. In early 2015, the Business Times Company contacted MayeCreate Design for a rebrand of the digital version of their flagship publication. I was the designer and developer on the project.

Solution:

The rebrand included a new color palette, typography, and page layout style. It also included new functionality, while maintaining the publication’s archives.

I used the bold, red and black color palette along with the bold typography to refine the look of the online brand. In addition to the typography and color, the new web design of Columbia Business Times includes a new editorial illustration style that was planned into the design. All of these design elements and page layouts form an upscale, yet cohesive online reading experience.
