Coastal Electric’s tagline says it all! Since 1995, this full-service electrical contractor has been providing quality expertise and service to businesses in Missouri, small to large, taking on the most unusual projects and solving the most complex electrical problems. Their overriding goal is to be the best electrical service contractor around, which only motivated me more to design and develop their new online home!

Making the Most of Professional Imagery

What stands out most about Coastal Electric’s new website is the use of eye-catching photography that include a handful of cool project and equipment images. The call-out buttons on the home page and service pages prominently feature this imagery along with subtle CSS animations to create a fun and engaging experience.

On each of the completed project pages I used the NextGen Gallery plugin to highlight images of the Coastal Electric team hard at work.  These pages also include a list of the various facilities and projects they’ve been involved with alongside a simple call-to-action button.
