Designer by Nature, Developer by Trade
Growing up, I thought album artwork was the ultimate expression of creativity. Flipping through records and CDs is what first sparked my obsession with design, showing me how visual art could perfectly capture a mood or a message.
After earning my B.F.A. in graphic design, I cut my teeth working in print shops and small-to-medium sized marketing agencies. Operating in these fast-paced environments forced me to wear multiple hats. Instead of just handing off static layouts, I wanted to build them, which naturally turned me into a well-rounded hybrid of designer and developer.
I have always had a deep love for the technical side of things. Watching the internet evolve in real time didn’t just fascinate me, it pushed me to keep learning and ultimately driving my complete transition into web development. Today, I use my design foundation to write cleaner code and build digital experiences that look as good as they function.
Beyond the Screen
When I’m not behind the monitor, you can still find me listening to my favorite music, leaning into the problem-solving puzzle of DIY home repairs, or traveling the world with a mandatory stop at local art museums.
