DBC Rentals

DBC Rentals offers a variety of apartments to suit the need of the students and young professionals in Columbia, Missouri. They wanted a website design to project a contemporary and professional appearance in order to establish their properties as an ideal location to live for graduate, and non-traditional undergraduate students. They wanted to highlight the amenities, floor plans and locations of their properties while at the same time having a high-end look to compete with the big companies entering the local market.

Solution

When designing this site, I used a minimalist and contemporary graphic design style to give the website a professional appearance. The style was combined with professionally staged photography to grab the attention of the website’s target audience. I harnessed the energy of the logo’s red and contrasted it with a bright yellow accent to grab the attention and move the visitor through the website. A mobile-first approach was utilized to enhance the user experience on mobile and tablet devices to target the younger, tech-savvy audience.
